Precision Aluminum Motor Housing

Product Processing
Processing Cycle: 10-15 Days (depending on the complexity of specific heat treatment and surface finishing requirements).

Material: Made of high-strength aluminum alloy (such as 6061-T6 or 7075). This material is not only lightweight but also has good thermal conductivity and mechanical strength, making it ideal for housings of rotating equipment that require heat dissipation and lightweight design.
Equipment: 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machining centers, CNC lathes.

Mechanical Processing:
CNC Turning: The inner and outer cylindrical surfaces and the bottom flange surface are mainly processed by turning to ensure extremely high concentricity and roundness.
CNC Milling: The vertical slots on the outer wall, the countersunk holes on the top, and the shape of the bottom mounting lugs are completed through multi-axis联动 (linkage) milling.
Drilling and Tapping: The connecting holes on the top are precision-drilled and tapped to ensure thread accuracy.
Post-Processing: The surface may be sandblasted to remove tool marks, followed by anodizing to enhance surface wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

Product Advantages
High Concentricity: Turn-mill composite machining ensures extremely high concentricity between the inner hole and the outer circle, which is crucial for the dynamic balance of rotating parts.
Excellent Heat Dissipation Design: The milled slots on the outer wall increase the surface area, helping to dissipate heat from internal components (such as motor windings).
Lightweight & High Strength: Compared to steel parts, aluminum alloy significantly reduces weight while maintaining structural rigidity, and the rib design compensates for the difference in material strength.

Use Scenarios
Servo Motors / Stepper Motors: Used as the front or rear end cap of the motor to support bearings and connect loads.
Precision Reducers: Used as the reducer housing to contain gear sets and provide mounting interfaces.
Automation Equipment: Used as connection brackets for robotic arm joints or cylinders for rotary actuators.
Aerospace: Used as lightweight structural components for drones or aviation instruments.
